Reporting Absences
To have an absence excused, a parent must notify the school office by 9 a.m. on the day of the absence. If you cannot reach the office by phone, you may leave a message or send an email.
Extended Absences
If your student will be absent for multiple days, please call the school daily to update us on your child's whereabouts. This helps us verify attendance quickly and efficiently. We appreciate your cooperation.
Pre-Arranged Absences
If your child must miss school on specific day(s), please notify the attendance clerk or call 719-234-3040 at least four days in advance.
Your child is responsible for obtaining assignments and completing all missed work. School administration may deny approval of pre-arranged absences if the length of the absence results in excessive missed school days.
