Mr. Grumann spends his time outside of school reading books, hiking, biking, camping, skiing and working on his home computer.  He is very interested in flight, aircraft and flight simulation.  He and his family enjoy hiking and camping in national and state parks in the summer. In past summers he and his family have visited Glacier, Bryce, Zion, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, just to name a few.  He looks forward to visiting many more in the future.

Core beliefs:  I believe that every student can learn!  Students learn best when they become active learners and investigators.  Students come to us with a myriad of experiences, gifts and talents and that's what makes public education so interesting.  I strongly believe that the natural sciences are basic to the understanding of how to function in our world and since we are preparing the leaders of tomorrow, we have a unique opportunity to help them appreciate and respect our fragile planet and its environments.
