Before I became Sra. Vroom, I grew up in Idaho and learned the value of hard work on my parents' farm. I love to vacation in the mountains of Idaho especially with my family. I enjoy hiking and exploring the out-of-doors, camping, skiing, jogging, golfing and traveling with my husAband and children. I have lived in Spain, Italy and Canada and have traveled to Mexico and Chile.
Professional History and Credentials: I received a Bachelors Degree in English from the University of Idaho and a Masters Degree from Old Dominion University in Virginia. I have taught in high schools, private schools, and middle schools in Washington, California, Colorado, and Virginia.
Philosophy about teaching /administration: Learning and teaching are truly enriching experiences. The more we learn, the more we can appreciate the potential of our lives and of our gifts. Young minds are eager to learn and it is a great joy to interact and help stimulate the acquisition of knowledge and skills. I believe that learning a language opens up new experiences, new potential, and new knowledge of the world. All things that are truly worthwhile require effort.
