After moving around the country as an Army brat, my family settled in Colorado Springs when I was in fifth grade. Since then, I have lived in Boston and Seattle. Colorado Springs, however, is my hometown and my favorite place to live! My wife and I have two sons, Benjamin and Max. We love to swim, hike, and eat Fargos pizza whenever possible. I also enjoy cheering on my students in their athletic and extracurricular activities, as it is just as rewarding as teaching in the classroom.
I have a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree (both in English), and I completed my teaching license through UCCS. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked as a security clearance investigator for the US government. I consider reading, writing, and speaking "the language arts”to be crucial to every students success inside and outside the classroom. My primary goal is to connect with, challenge, and encourage each student, no matter their ability level or background.
The best way to contact me is by email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Parents and students can locate homework assignments, daily agendas, and other class materials through ALEC (see the links section). Grades and missing assignments can always be found on Infinite Campus (also on the links section).
