Jordia Moorman has relocated to Colorado after teaching and counseling in the Texas education system for 11 years. Additionally, Ms. Moorman has 3 years of experience working and teaching at Black Forest Academy in Kandern, Germany. Originally from Mississippi, she moved to Texas and received her undergraduate degree from SAGU in Waxahachie, TX, and received her graduate degree in school counseling from the University of North Texas. Her background covers a wide spectrum of educational experiences while her focus has remained middle school throughout her career. Her philosophy is that every student is unique, so building individual relationships is vital in meeting each student where they are academically, socially, and emotionally. She also believes in life-long learning in and out of the classroom a principle she applies to her own life. Ms. Moorman's loves to be outdoors and enjoys backpacking and day hikes, bike rides, traveling, and skiing!
