About Miss Williams
I was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. Even though I'm a Husker fan, I went to college at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR. I graduated with a Middle School Education degree with a concentration in math and science. Growing up, my family always came to Colorado for vacation so I knew I wanted to move to the mountains. My first teaching job was 7th grade math in Woodland Park, Colorado. I taught math there for 8 years and am excited to teach 7th grade math here at Challenger for my second year. I enjoy helping students grow, not only in math, but also in character.
When I'm not teaching, I like to play sports. I played volleyball and basketball for a couple of years in high school. Since moving to the mountains, my favorite activities have become skiing, hiking, and playing tennis. I also enjoy reading and watching quirky shows on TV that make me laugh.

In 7th grade math, you can expect to have homework almost every class period. Students can find homework on my ALEC page. If you're not sure what the assignment is, you can always check the ALEC calendar for a description of the day's lesson and homework.
