Debbie Schram was born in Hot Springs, South Dakota. She has a brother, Randy, who is two years older and a sister, Donna, who is four years younger. She attended all of her K-12 schooling in Craig, Colorado. She got her AS at Mesa College in Grand Junction when it was still a 2-year Junior College and her BS at Colorado State University. Her major is Business Teacher Education and minor is Secondary Mathematics.
Ms. Schram was married for 24 years and has four sons - Chris, Tim, Greg, and Spencer. All four sons graduated from CSU - Chris in Pre-Med, and Tim, Greg, and Spencer in Civil Engineering. Chris and wife, Sam, have been living in Pendleton, OR, but plan to move their family to Colorado Springs this summer, 2013. They have three handsome sons - Koda, Asher, and Gavin - Debbie's first grandchildren! Tim and his wife, Arryn, have a daughter, Sofie, and Greg and his wife, Tania, have a son, Hayden. Tim and Greg and their families live north of San Francisco, CA, in Sebastopol and Rohnert Park, and work at the same engineering company in Santa Rosa, CA. Debbie adores her five beautiful grandchildren!! Spencer is single and working as a civil engineer in Ft. Collins, CO.
Ms. Schram lived in Meeker, Colorado, most of the years her boys were growing up and taught 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Math at Barone Middle School in Meeker for 11 years. After her youngest graduated high school, she moved to Colorado Springs, and has been teaching 6th, 7th, or 8th Grade Math at Challenger Middle School for the past 9 years and this current year.
Ms. Schram enjoys her family, reading mystery/romance books, tole painting on wood, making porcelain dolls, crocheting, working puzzles - jig saw, sudoku, crossword, etc., and figuring out her iPad that her sons gave her.
