The Colorado Blue Spruce Book Awards nominees have also been announced. This is another "teen choice" list, but this one is compiled by students throughout Colorado. Read three books and vote for your favorite by December 31. Look for the list of 2018 nominees at http://www.coloradobluespruceaward.org/ or in the library nonfiction room.
You can help CMS win a Peculiar Writing Workshop with Ransom Riggs, the author of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. Write your own "peculiar" story and submit it by December 31. Go to http://www.peculiarwriting.com/ for more information.
